Russia's aggression against Ukraine has drawn attention to the issue of "frozen conflicts" and the experience of their settlement. The Transnistrian conflict can be considered similar to the hybrid war against Ukraine both because of the identity of the methods used by Russia and because of the lack of a religious and ethnic components.
